Life Goes On

I have finally got another Saturday morning with nothing to do – but stay in bed wide awake ’till the late hours of the morning. Scrolling down my Facebook timeline has become boring that I decided to just put an entry here in my blog. I am actually thinking of once again reinventing my layout, as soon as I have the time… and the energy and wit.

I am not sure if the busy days are finally over. The MGSPI SEC registration is done, and now that we’re official, I’m guessing that the real work is just about to start. A lot of things need to be worked out, and as a member of the Board of Trustees, I have to think of ways on how to generate funds! Geez!

Then I was able to hit my deadline last night, and emailed another 25 articles that hopefully be paid by next week. How I love freelancing! But then, I am also starting to realize that, well, writing for a living is totally different from writing to chase your dreams. Maybe some of the authors out there understand what I mean here. As I drag myself to finish those articles, a pang of disappointment surges right through me when I realize that I wasn’t able to get up in the wee hours of the morning to finish the new story I am currently writing.

Baby, it's 2am actually.

And yes, there’s a new story I am writing.

Not that I am complaining though. A girl has bills to pay too (and medications to pick up), so yeah, I thank the Lord for the job. And now I just remembered I am supposed to be editing a 100k++-word manuscript. Again, there are bills that need to be paid.

Oh and yeah, I also was able to spare time reading. Yay! I am halfway done reading this ultra-famous YA lit everyone’s been talking about. I think I’m gonna be blogging about it too.

Till then.
